 It was an awesome week of fishing, but nothing can beat today!
My girls wanted to go fishing for a little bit today(Easter Sunday). Of course that means fish for fifteen minutes and go to an island and swim. Well thats all we needed today!
I took them to a flat that I have been slaying the Redfish on and poled down. My seven year old Nevaeh tossed out a shrimp under a cork and instantly had a small Trout. She threw another one out and two minutes later she started screaming "DADDY DADDY DADDY" I look over and she was holding on for dear life. The look on her face was priceless! I sat her down on a chair and held the end of the rod a little bit and she did the rest.She fought this fish for about ten minutes! She landed her first Redfish that was 26 3/4 inches. Of course she wouldn't hold the fish for a picture, but her little sister ain't scared of anything. She jumped right in and helped sissy hold the fish up.
We fished for about twenty minutes and off to the Island for a swim.
I put my guest on over two hundred fish this week and none of them come close to watching my little girl reel this fish in!
